Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 and Warzone have launched the Trick ‘r Treat: Candy Hunt event as part of their Halloween celebrations. Players can collect candies across various game modes to unlock exclusive rewards, including the Blood Red Riding Hood skin for the Banshee operator. The event, which runs until October 16, 2024, features 22 rewards divided into four tiers.
To progress through each tier, players must collect a specific amount of candy. Candies can be found in multiplayer by looting eliminated opponents, in zombie modes by defeating zombies, and in loot caches scattered around the map. As players advance through the tiers, they may receive “treats” or “tricks” from surprise rewards.
Halloween candy hunt hits Warzone
Treats grant additional candy, while tricks display humorous messages. The amount of candy collected can be boosted by using the Sam operator skin from the Trick ‘R Treat: Sam bundle, available for purchase in the in-game store for 2,400 Call of Duty Points (approximately USD $19.99).
Notable rewards include the Double Battle Pass XP Token (300 candies), the Follow the Rules or Die emblem (900 candies), the Halloween Spoils camo (1,200 candies), and the Blood Red Riding Hood Banshee Operator Skin (1,000,000 candies). The Trick ‘r Treat: Candy Hunt event is just one part of the larger Halloween-themed content in Modern Warfare 3 and Warzone. The games also feature spooky map variants, limited-time game modes, and collaborations with popular horror franchises such as Smile 2, Halloween, The Walking Dead, and Trick ‘r Treat.
Modern Warfare 3 also introduces a new campaign, serving as a direct sequel to Modern Warfare II, and modernized versions of classic multiplayer maps with upgraded graphics and innovative gameplay features. Additionally, the game debuts Modern Warfare Zombies, the largest Zombies map to date, allowing players to team up with other squads for the first time.
