Google has released a new “design of” video showcasing its Pixel and Nest products. The latest video reveals an unreleased Concentric face for the Pixel Watch 3. This new layout resembles Dial I but features a ring of four complications positioned between the minutes and seconds.
The battery percentage and heart rate information are displayed in the bottom two slots of the new design. There also seems to be a slot possibly indicating the breathing rate, which is currently measured overnight as part of Health Metrics. However, the VO2 Max (or cardio fitness score) is not included as a complication at this time.
Unreleased Concentric face details
The video includes other watch faces already available on this year’s wearable, such as Active, Field, and Track. There’s hope that this update to Concentric is not merely a mockup.
Google has not previously released new Pixel Watch faces outside the schedule of annual device launches. This update would count as an enhancement to an already popular existing face. So far, the Pixel Watch and Pixel Watch 2 have yet to receive updates with the 2024 faces.
