Players will also have the opportunity to collect various items through the event card, such as an exotic emote, sparrow, ghost shell, ghost projection, and transmat effect. One of the highlights of the Festival of the Lost is the collection of masks, and this year’s event promises to deliver eight new masks for players to obtain. The leaked list includes the Runner Mask, Nezarec Mask, Cursed Thrall Mask, Kadi 55-30 Mask, Cayde-6 Mask, Witness Mask, Finalized Ghost Mask, and Tower Staff Mask.

The leaks also suggest that Haunted Sectors and Headless Ones will make a comeback in the 2024 event. Players will need to complete activities while wearing the Masquerader’s helmet with a Festival Mask to earn Spectral pages. These pages can be transformed into Manifested pages by defeating Headless Ones in the Haunted Sectors playlist.

festival of the Lost rewards

Returning Manifested Pages to the Book of the Forgotten will unlock lore, and completing Event Challenges will grant additional rewards. Festival of the Lost 2024 is set to begin on Tuesday, October 29, 2024.

The event will feature wizard-themed armor ornament sets for each subclass, with Hunters and Warlocks receiving Evil Wizard armor ornaments and Titans getting Good Wizard armor ornaments. As with previous years, players can expect the return of Festival Masks, which can be worn in Haunted Lost Sectors to collect Spectral Pages. Festival of the Lost-themed weapons, such as the Horror Story auto rifle, are also likely to be available.

Additionally, the in-game store will offer a variety of spooky cosmetic items for players to purchase. While the leaked information has generated excitement among the Destiny 2 community, it is important to note that Bungie has not officially confirmed these details. Players should take the leaks with a grain of salt until an official announcement is made.

As the Festival of the Lost 2024 approaches, Destiny 2 fans can look forward to embracing the spooky season with new rewards, activities, and the opportunity to collect unique masks and armor ornaments. Stay tuned for more information from Bungie in the coming months.
