Activision released the Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 Global Launch Gameplay Trailer today, kicking off the countdown to the game’s highly anticipated release on October 25, 2024. The trailer was unveiled 18 days ahead of the usual schedule, as launch trailers are typically released just a few days before a game’s full release. This year, Activision has decided not to offer an Early Access period before the global launch, which is usually used to give fans an early look at the campaign.
The decision may be due to the mixed reception of last year’s Modern Warfare 3 campaign. Activision stated, “The team is fully focused on October 25. We are excited about all the game has to offer across Campaign, Multiplayer, and Zombies.

It is gritty and immersive, offering a glimpse of a dark, ambiguous story. The Multiplayer experience promises to be very different from previous games that featured playful elements like dressing up as cats or pigeons. The trailer focuses solely on the Campaign, where players will encounter high-intensity gameplay similar to Call of Duty: Black Ops and Call of Duty: Cold War.
The trailer’s great soundtrack adds to the excitement for the global release. Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 will be available on Xbox and PC Game Pass at launch, making it more accessible for subscribers of the service. The game will officially launch on October 25th, 2024.
