Golden Concept has released a new diamond-studded case for the Apple Watch Ultra. The case costs $20,000, making it the world’s most expensive Apple Watch case. It is available for both the first and second-generation Apple Watch Ultra models.
The company is only making 10 of these cases to celebrate its 10th anniversary. The Racing Sport Diamond case has 5.6 carats of VVS diamonds. There are 1068 diamonds that are set by hand.
It takes 46 hours to set the diamonds on each case. The case is made of silver and comes with a white band. Golden Concept says it looks like “something made of ice.” The company is targeting wealthy people and celebrities with this product.
Diamond-studded luxury for Apple Watch
Golden Concept says the Racing Sport Diamond case is for people who live a life of luxury. They say it is for people who are used to flying on private planes instead of using public transportation.
The Apple Watch Ultra was released in September 2022. It was designed to be a more rugged version of the regular Apple Watch. It is made of titanium and has a scratch-resistant display.
It is also water-resistant up to 130 feet. The Racing Sport Diamond Ultra case is not meant to provide extra protection for the Apple Watch Ultra. It is purely focused on looks.
However, the Apple Watch Ultra 3 is expected to come out in 2025. Any changes to its design could make this $20,000 case outdated.
