NPC Labs’ funding boosts web3 gaming growth
Nonetheless, the company has a clear focus on enhancing the use of on-chain gaming. Precise details of this undertaking have not been disclosed yet by CEO Daryl Xu.
The startup is dedicated to bolstering active user engagement within the gaming ecosystem. Already in discussions regarding the expansion of the gaming ecosystem, NPC Labs handles a unique Layer 3 ecosystem operating on Base, named B3.fun, aiming to facilitate high-frequency transactions and near-zero fee transactions for gamers.
NPC Labs recognizes the opportunities presented by on-chain gaming as a distribution and monetization medium. As a response, B3.fun was conceptualized to provide a supporting infrastructure for developers looking to tackle these challenges. It caters to game distribution, marketing, and monetization, and aids in removing barriers for game creators.
B3.fun is currently in its test stages and is compatible with games developed on existing networks. The company is in the process of making plans for integrating games from other chains along with formalizing a launch date for B3’s mainnet and introducing an exclusive B3 token in the near future.
