Drop.io - File (and more) Sharing Made Absolutely Simple
Often times traditional email file size limitations make it impractical to share files via email so you need another solution - tools like Drop.io and Yousendit (what I've used many times) are absolute musts when you want to share files. What's neat about Drop.io is how easy it is to use and the features it comes with.
You can share files through several means: web, email, phone, fax or a widget embedded on your web site.
Once you create a "drop" (online space to share files) you are given a telephone number to leave voice mails to the drop owner and a number for conference calls.
Check out Drop.io before you need to share your next file!
You might ask, what about Google Docs, OfficeLive or other tools? These tools are useful when you don't only want to send files to users but you want a collaborative environment for users to not only receive files but to enable them to edit files and ensure you have the most up to date version of the files.
