Google Docs and Microsoft Office: Now They Are "Even"
So those complaining that Microsoft had no easy way to share files, now have Office Workspace which helps you share Office files. Those complaining that Google Docs has no offline access are silenced as Google now does have offline access.

By the way, I put "even" in quotes as no one contends that Microsoft Office is not way more powerful than Google Docs. But if you need simple document writing, spreadsheet and collaboration tools Google Docs is just fine.
