Cable vs DSL: Which One is Best for Your Business
The debate over cable vs DSL appears to have had died for some time. I think years ago there was some fuss over which one was better. But it appears that now, it's not a matter of which one is "better" but which offers the better package and if you are getting it for home or business.
TechWareLabs gives an overview of the two here.
I recently signed on with Earthlink for DSL and telephone service. It works quite well. Occasionally the service has gone down, but Earthlink's tech support is "ok". Rebooting the router has also fixed the problem.
If you find your DSL service is going down from time to time, you might want to consider upgrading to a full T1 line. DSL is a shared service, while "T1" is a full 1.5 Mega-bit-per-second (Mbps) speed.
