LinkedIn Best Practices

linkedin.gifLinkedIn is a powerful tool for finding someone in a business. Maybe you want to do a major contract with a particular vendor, and have no clue how to reach them. I came across David Nour's LInkedIn's Best Practices audio-cast and you should check it out.

As social media tools get more popular, learning about and how to better use social media tools is important.

LinkedIn, is one of several tools including JigSaw and FaceBook that help you either connect with other professionals who could be customers, partners, expert advice or all three!

At the Infusion CRM User Conference social media was mentioned several times by John Jantsch, Duct Tape Marketing and Brent Leary, Business Technology Radio.

On the other hand, small business owners can get frustrate as there are so many options for social networking. How do they find time to use social networking tools (hire an assistant); how do they know which tools to invest the time in (it really depends on what audience you are going after and which social networks they use).

What do you think? How do you use social networking tools?
