Your Network Is Only As Strong As Your Server
If your server is working as well as it should you should not notice that you have a server. It should just hum along in the background doing what it does best:
- Sharing files
- Sharing applications
- Managing network security
- Assisting with backup and more
Microsoft's Small Business Server is the leading small business server on the marketplace and will soon start selling Small Business Server 2008.
Computer World writes Microsoft Windows Small Business Server (SBS) 2008, code-named "Cougar," is one of two software bundles in Microsoft's new Windows Essential Server Solutions line. It also includes Windows Essential Business Server 2008, formerly code-named "Centro" and aimed at midsize companies. Both products are based on the same code as Windows Server 2008, the next version of Microsoft's enterprise server operating system.
Microsoft SBS is not the only server around of course.
IBM just about Network Integration Technologies - NITIX
Whichever small business server you select make sure it fits your needs now and in the future. Make sure its simple to use and with enough built in features to serve your particular business needs.

Hey Ramon!
Thanks for the mention of FileEngine. We're actually using Novell SUSE. We're one of their OEMs.
Oops! The link to Novell Small Business Server points to Emerge Core's site ;(
