Sage's PeachTree Adds New Services
Peachtree, by Sage bills itself as a real accounting program as compared to other accounting programs. Recently it's launched two new services, with a third one to be launched later in the year.
Peachtree has partnered with Citrix to offer Citrix's GoToMyPC, branded as Peachtree Remote Access, to Peachtree customers. Peachtree is also offering Citrix's Web Meeting to customers as well.
This remote access service compliments the Peachtree Web Accounting service introduced in 2001 that enables businesses to access their Peachtree information via the web.
Sage also introduced Business Care for Peachtree by Sage to give Peachtree customers much more support and includes product upgrades, training and support.
"Time is at a premium for small firms, and we want to help them keep their focus on what's most important: running their businesses. With the new Peachtree Business Care Plan, we're helping them to maximize their time by keeping them current on the latest version of Peachtree, and helping them use their software more efficiently with unlimited access to training and support when they need it," said Connie Certusi, general manager, accounting solutions, Sage Software. "When they don't have to worry about their software, they can focus on growing their businesses."
