Symantec Offers Security for SmartPhones

Did you know that you can purchase security software for your smartphone. You ARE concerned about the security for your PC and network, and you need to be quite concerned about the security of your smartphone.
PC World reports that next week, Symantec Corp. will broaden its mobile security product line by shipping new products designed for Microsoft Corp.'s Windows Mobile devices. The software will come in two versions: a consumer product called Norton Mobile Security for Smartphones and Symantec Mobile Security 5.0, designed for enterprise users. Both versions will be available May 29, a company spokesman said Monday.
Your smartphone is a computer - it's just mobile and in your pocket or purse. As such you need to protect it from viruses and other malicious code.
Your smartphone can be attacked through email, the web, connecting it to a computer and its variety of wireless connectivity options.
Symantec's not the only mobile software around. Trend Micro, McAfee, F-Secure and others offer mobile security solutions.
