Using the Web to Boost Your Business
Your web site can be much more than a digital brochure for your business. It can be the foundational tool used to really increase visibility and sales for your business.
In reference to a popular online video, Forbes writes This sort of cheap, contagious marketing isn't easy, but it's increasingly necessary in the shifting Web world. And you can use some the same principles and techniques inside your company to help your employees collaborate. The Internet is an enormous source of competitive advantage for companies that know how to use it and a disadvantage for those that don't.
Is traditional marketing dead? Of course not. It's still important to reach your customers through radio, TV and print advertising. HOWEVER, if you have a limited budget you might be better off spending $20,000 in an online project - that's viral and generates thousands and thousands of new visitors to your web site. Than on a TV campaign that will probably generate little results for such a small investment.
