Capabilities Your Web Designer Absolutely Must Possess
Your web designer could be one of the most important members of your business team - which includes your accountant, lawyer and IT consultant.
If you have chosen to do design your website yourself, using a software package or one of them many hosted solutions (Homestead.com, Officelive.com, Edit.com) then you won't need these tips - right now.
However, if you are looking to hire a web designer or wondering if your current web designer is up to stuff there are some key traits they should have.
Wilsonweb says the traits must include:
Graphics software ability and an artistic sense.
HTML ability. Lack of HTML knowledge isn't usually the problem.
Navigation and usability design experience.
Basic search engine optimization skills
Provision for the site owner to make changes.
