With Virtual Drive, CD's & DVD's Can Live on the Network

If you have a CD and need the content to be used by more than one user, your options of doing this are limited. With a CD, you have to copy it (if it's legal to do so) for each user who wants to use it or share the CD drive of a server or computer.

A better option is to FarStone Technology's VirtualDrive an emulator software that copies a CD or unencrypted DVD as a compressed image, or "virtual disc," which can be played in place of original discs in any one of up to 23 "virtual drives" that the software creates.

If you operate a library, need to train employees or other solutions VirtualDrive lets you access CD/DVD information at speeds almost 100 times faster than from a CD-ROM drive.

VirtualDrive 11 and VirtualDrive Pro 11 are not new software but updates (especially for Windows Vista) of mature tools.

VirtualDrive 11 is priced at $34.99 US per license and VirtualDrive Pro 11 is priced at $59.99 US per license.
