Dragon Naturally Speaking...pretty good says NPR

I'm listening to an :NPR Technology News Story of the day podcast" and the reporter says that Dragon Naturally Speaking software works very well.
The reporter starts by speaking to the software, robotic like (slowly) and it works perfectly. He then speaks faster and although it was not perfect the accuracy was very good.
What does this mean to you?
Although the dictation software can't beat a human, especially if there are multiple voices, background noise, mumbling and etc - it can do well when the audio is clear.
Maybe you don't type fast or you prefer to dictate your thoughts instead of typing - consider dictation software. Maybe you have your hands messy potting plants at a desk and need to record your thoughts. More than just record your thoughts but have something intelligent written so you don't have to retype it.
