GoldenRam - Get Help Upgrading Your Computer
When you want to upgrade your computer, you might need help knowing what to upgrade nd what part to order. GoldenRam, an online retailer, has a free software tool that will inspect your computer and give you suggestions on what to buy and links so you can buy what you want - from GoldenRam of course.
I ran the software on my Gateway computer and it detected my computer's hardware specifications and then brought me to a web site that gave suggestions on what to buy.
You might be concerned (privacy issues) that GoldenRam pushes your data up to GoldenRam's web site and then displays information about your upgrade options. But it APPEARS to be innocent enough and their spokesperson assured me the download is not spyware or adware.
