When Your Printer Goes Down - Save $
Last week my HP LaserJet 4200 printer died. It kept displaying an error message about a maintenance kit and gave the part number needed. Many people would call a printer technician and if the printer is under warranty the repair is "free", it not, it's going to be an expensive repair plus parts.

Instead I ordered the $200 kit from CDW (main part was a fuser) and did a maintenance of the printer myself.
It was not hard to do and the kit had simple instructions. Next time your printer goes down consider if you can repair it yourself and save.
