Lower DSL Costs make having dial-up inexcusable
As each day goes by, those small businesses that STILL have dial-up have less and less of an excuse to NOT have DSL. DSL enables your business to MOVE FASTER and DO MORE online. Hosted applications come alive with DSL. Using video conferencing, VOIP and other online communication technologies cannot be practically done on dial-up. Verizon's recent price drops are quite welcome and will further drive the use of these business tools/applications..
Verizon Online has lowered by 35 to 60 percent the price of its two highest-capacity business DSL packages for customers from Maine to Virginia.
Verizon Business DSL at speeds of up to 7.1 Mbps (megabits per second) downstream and 768 Kbps (kilobits per second) upstream with Dynamic IP is now $79.95 a month, down from $204.95 a month, and Verizon Business DSL with Static IP at those speeds is now $149.95 a month, down from $234.95 a month. The connection speeds are almost 10 times as fast as the entry-level up to 768 Kbps speed service offered to consumers and businesses.
As part of the installation process, Verizon Online provides a professional service technician to set up the service. For a limited time in Massachusetts, New Hampshire, Vermont, Connecticut, Rhode Island and Maine, the price of the technician visit for Verizon Business DSL will be reduced to $49.95 for new orders of either Verizon Online's 3.0 Mbps Standard; or 7.1 Mbps speed services. New customer will save close to 75 percent off on a technician visit.
The new reduced prices for these packages are only available by calling 888-649-9500, the Verizon Business DSL sales and service center.
