Verio - We Will NOT be the Low Price Leader; Instead - Quality of Service

For years, Verio has served the small businesses community with their web hosting needs. However, at the same time, it's also been serving large enterprise. Last week Verio announced that As part of this strategy, Verio is set to launch a series of new product initiatives, including managed services for small and midsized businesses and related Internet services that meet the needs of customers as well as strategic partners. This focus will build on Verio¬?s 10-year tenure in the market, as well as its existing leadership in reseller, OEM and partner programs.

One thing Verio will NOT do, said Dennis Boyle, Chief Operating Officer of Verio is be the "low price" leader.

You might have seen the MANY advertisements that 1&1 Web Host has been touting in many magazines, comparing their lower prices to GoDaddy.com's. While being competitive, Dennis explain that Verio will not be trying to play a price war game, but instead ensure that it's service and offerings are top notch. He wants to make sure that on Thanksgiving Day, when one of their small business customers calls, someone will answer the phone to help.

Over the next few months and weeks expect to see a range of new services and education toolsofferedd by Verio. Dennis wants Verio to be the trusted advisor for a small businesses web hosting needs.
