USB - It's Better Wireless

While USB is real nice, when I've got a keyboard, mouse and PDA plugged into my notebook, I yearn for a wireless USB option - it's now here.

Remember, gadgets for gadgets sake is no good, but gadgets that make a small business more productive are POWERFUL. The upcoming Small Business Summit will address this in some way.

PC World writes about two peripheral manufacturers backed Freescale's new "CableFree USB" initiative - "Our Cable-Free USB approach allows consumers to extend the functionality of their existing USB 2.0 cameras, flash drives, MP3 players, laptops and many other consumer electronic devices by creating a wireless connection for the existing USB 2.0 specification," said Martin Rofheart, director of the UWB Operation at Freescale, in a statement.
