Are Pens a Commodity? Are Computers?
To many of us, a computer is simply a commodity that we want to buy at the lowest price without thought to much anything else. In SOME cases this is ok to do, however, if you really want to maximize your businesses computing experience and get more out of your computer you need to think of the computer as a valuable tool in your business arsenal.
When shopping for a computer, price is important but take a look at things such as data protection features, security, warranty policies and other things.
Cnet writes that Lenovo, who wants to differentiate its computers from Dell and Gateway's "low priced computers" showed attendees at a recent event a great example of how a pen is NOT a commodity.
