Congrats to Earthlink: PC Mag Award

Earthlink, the ISP I use for dial-up Internet access, has been awarded a readers's choice award for its high speed Internet service and top honors for its dial-up service by PC Magazine. I've had not problem with Earthlink for years.

"Whether it's a broadband or dial-up connection, or voice and data service, EarthLink has always focused on the subscriber's experience -- from accessing the Internet and technical support to innovative protection tools," said Mike Lunsford, president of access and voice, EarthLink. "Receiving the PC Magazine Readers' Choice Award underscores our commitment to provide consumers with the premium service available, however they choose to log on and surf the Web."

Nearly 11,000 PC Magazine readers participated in the survey rating their ISPs on overall satisfaction, initial setup, rates, connection speed, connection reliability, email service, customer service, technical support and likelihood to recommend.

The award is featured in the November 8, 2005 issue of PC Magazine and online at go.pcmag.com/sr.
