"Bill Me Later": No Credit Cards for Etailers
While credit cards are very popular, there are many who a) don't have credit cards or b) don't want to use their credit card online. Some firms let you bill to your telephone but 14 Commerce has a system that lets you bill the customer later.
Online tech retailer NewEgg.com has this service now and their new payment system allows its more than four million customers to make purchases without entering credit card or account information and provides greater buying power and security.
Additionally, Newegg.com is teaming with I4 Commerce to introduce a Preferred Account program that enhances a customer's shopping experience at Newegg.
Although credit cards are popular, if you are looking to jumpstart your own online business, consider if a bill me later option would help increase your sales.
