Gateway Staples Its Notebooks

Gateway will sell two of its notebook models via Staples' retail stores. Starting this week, Staples will offer the Gateway 3550GZ and Gateway 7330GZ notebooks.

"Staples is a world leader in office products, which makes them an
excellent resource for students, small offices and home-based businesses in
the market for a notebook PC," said Bob Davidson, Gateway's senior vice
president -- Retail. "We are delighted that our new line of notebooks will be
widely available to Staples' customers throughout the country, and we look
forward to expanding that relationship into the holiday season and beyond."

"Gateway's notebook line offers an impressive combination of value,
mobility and performance for our consumer and professional customers," said
Peter Scala, senior vice president and general merchandise manager of
technology at Staples. "We're pleased to offer customers an easy way to
purchase a new Gateway computer as they shop for all their school supply needs
this season."
