Vonage Gets the SMB Market - Resellers

It's been interesting to watch Vonage move from a consumer offering to a mix of business and consumer.

They have to.

In this race, looming large in their mirror or right beside them in some case is Skype, 8x8 and of course the telephone companies.

Guess who is leading the Vonage charge - Vonage's resellers. Skype's resellers are also a key factor in Sype's business sales.

Warrillow Weekly writes As a smaller company ourselves, we are very much in tune with the 5-100 employee segment",? says Mark Lyons, Vice President, Sales SMB Channel at Vonage. In order to tap into the SMB market growth opportunity, the company has recently launched a multi-line phone service for small business called Vonage Business Plus. Businesses get a range of minutes and phone numbers, starting at 12,000 minutes and 8 phone numbers for $199, up to 50,000 minutes and 24 phone numbers for $999 per month. This covers calls anywhere in the United States and Canada.
