Silex's USB Servers: Powerful & Simple Network Tool

Last week I tried out one of Silex's USB servers which enable you to connect any USB device directly to your network.
Traditionally to use a USB device, you must first connect it to a PC. Imagine being able to plug your USB hard disk, scanner or other device, into a network appliance and make that device useful for EVERYONE on your network. This is the power of a Silex USB server.

Installing the USB server took all of 10 minutes. Plug power and network (not included) cables into the USB server, install the included software and that's it.
I could now go to any computer on my network and access the USB devices plugged into the Silex USB server just as if they were plugged into my own computer.
I encourage you to check out Silex's full line of products here.
