Microsoft: Advertising Old Software For Your To Learn

There's a lot that can be done with Windows that many people don't know how to do. In the past Microsoft has focused on advertising new software and new features, but starting today, in the most expensive advertising campaign in its history, Microsoft will be advertising Windows XP. Old software. Don't' get confused - but do learn.
The Associated Press writes The campaign will focus on specialized tasks consumers can do with Windows, like making music or learning about astronomy. These aren't new functions to Windows, but Scott Lennard, director of advertising for Microsoft's consumer marketing group, said people may not know about them ? a complaint critics have echoed.
It's hard for me to get excited about new software, as even though I'm a "techie" I think there's so much existing software around that businesses are NOT taking advantage of.
For example, your average word processor can do so much but most people just use it to right simple letters. I think fewer businesses use the advanced features of their word processor. How much less the advanced features of Windows XP.
