Bye, Bye Blogger. Here I come TypePad

As many of you know, I have been using Blogger.com to update Smallbiztechnology.com's news section for several years now. It's easy to use and simple. But there's two main problems - one VERY serious.
More and more, Blogger.com is unreliable and not working. If I had a personal web site about fishing or a church choir, these unreliabilities would not be that much of a problem. However, thousands and thousands of you rely on Smallbiztechnology.com's news. The other "problem", which I didn't know was a problem until I saw blogging tool TypePad - is that Blogger.com does not have as many features as TypePad.
In fairness, Blogger.com is FREE And TypePad costs money - $4.95 per month at the low end. However, I'd rather PAY for a tool that works well, works all the time and is feature rich, than have a FREE tool that is NOT feature rich and does not work all the time.
Consider this a eulogy to Blogger.com
So in a few weeks (or sooner) Smallbiztechnology.com will be using TypePad. I'll miss blogger, but when it's time to go, it's time to go.
