Web Hosts must do MORE than just host web sites
It is critical for web hosts to do more than simply offer web hosting services, they must also add value and additional services to their offerings. With this in mind, The Go Daddy Group, Inc., parent company of GoDaddy.com, the No. 1 registrar of domain names, announced today the latest release of EmailCounts(TM), a comprehensive email marketing tool that helps individuals and businesses create and send Spam-compliant newsletters, promotions, announcements, invitations and other emails.
With the release of EmailCounts version 2.0, users can now do even more. Using the application's intuitive wizard, users can design an online survey, then create links to the survey from a web site or, launch an email campaign containing a link to the survey. Users can readily track responses as well as generate easy to read real-time reports on the survey's results.
"This is yet another significant product release which has its roots in customer feedback. Right after we launched EmailCounts in February 2004, we started looking at customer suggestions," says Bob Parsons, president and founder of The Go Daddy Group, recently ranked the fastest growing technology company (#8 overall) on the Inc. 500 List of America's Fastest Growing Private Companies. "The survey feature was one that jumped out at us and we immediately made it a development priority."
Email Counts is available in four different packages, Basic, Economy, Deluxe and Premium, with prices ranging from $9.95/year to $49.95/year. All packages are Spam-compliant in that they add the necessary disclaimer language to any email communication, and include links allowing recipients to automatically opt out of future mailings. The new survey feature is available at no additional charge with the Economy, Deluxe and Premium packages.
"The addition of the survey creation and tracking feature makes EmailCounts an integral part of any individual's or businesses' overall Internet/email marketing strategy," adds Parsons. "It is truly a comprehensive communications and information gathering tool that generates increased opportunities to drive sales and marketing."
