Access Your PDA via Your PC
There are several products that let you access your PC remotely, but I've not heard of a product that lets you remotely access your PDA. Why would you want to? Well you can support remote PDA users. Display your PDA's screen in a presentation.
Laplink Controller is an indispensable application for every PDA user. Laplink Controller lets PC users view and control most Palm or Pocket PC device on a desktop or notebook screen. With this powerfully productive tool, users can quickly enter and retrieve data stored to their mobile devices with the convenience and ease of a full-sized screen and keyboard.
Laplink Controller is also a valuable presentation and training tool. By projecting your PDA's screen onto a desktop or notebook, you can comfortably display the contents to a small group of people. And if the desktop or notebook is connected to a projector, your tiny hand-held can actually power a large-scale presentation!
Laplink Controller can create video recordings for software training and demonstrations, print PDA screens, and synchronize the clipboards of the user's desktop or notebook with their handheld device for data copying.
"Laplink Controller is one of those indispensable programs, whether you are a mobile professional, a PDA developer, or simply a power-user," said Thomas Koll, Laplink CEO. "Dedicated Pocket PC users will be amazed by how far Controller extends the utility of their hand-held devices."
Laplink Controller supports a wide-range of skins that allow the large-screen view to replicate the exact look of a specific Palm or Pocket PC device. Laplink Controller also includes a file explorer for both local and device files. Users enjoy complete remote access to their device's system information, including reflecting processor, OS, battery, and memory details.
Palm and Pocket PC users can download a free trial version from www.laplink.com. Laplink Controller is available for $29.95 as a download from the Laplink website or can be ordered by calling (800) LAP-LINK.
