Want a Free WEB Page? Buy a domain name at GoDaddy.com
Every business needs a web site. Local businesses, should have at least a one page web site listing their phone number. With the recent launch and emphasis on local searches by Google, MSN and Yahoo and the growth of online yellow pages, a "local" online presence is even more important.
The Go Daddy Group, Inc., parent company of GoDaddy.com, the No. 1 registrar of domain names, announced today that it now offers a free Starter Web Page with every domain name purchased from, or transferred to, Go Daddy. Starter Web Page is available to all Go Daddy domain name owners, even those who purchased or transferred their domain name prior to the product's launch. In addition, Starter Web Page augments Go Daddy's other no-cost web page options, the Domain For Sale Page and the Coming Soon Page.
Using a simple design wizard, Go Daddy's Starter Web Page allows a domain name owner to quickly create and launch a professional one page web site on the Internet. No technical expertise or knowledge of HTML code is necessary, as Go Daddy's design wizard does all the work.
The design wizard guides users through selecting one of several web site templates, and allows them to either upload a custom image or select one from an online photo gallery. Users can add their contact information and customize the web page header, as well as add custom text, email and web site links. In addition, users can return to the design wizard at any time and make modifications. There is no limit to the number of modifications which can be made to a user's Starter Web Page.
"Starter Web Page is perfect for the individual or company embarking on the establishment of an online presence," says Bob Parsons, founder and president of The Go Daddy Group, recently ranked the fastest growing technology company (#8 overall) on the Inc. 500 List of America's Fastest Growing Private Companies. "In just minutes you can create a professional looking web page containing your contact information as well as other custom features unique to your brand. Best of all, when the time is right, you can build a more advanced web site by upgrading to Go Daddy's on-line click-n-build web builder program, WebSite Tonight."
Starter Web Page is the latest free feature that Go Daddy offers its customers with the purchase of a domain name. Other free features included with the purchase of a domain name include: domain locking, status alerts, forwarding and masking, total DNS control, and more.
"There are still companies that charge for the same features we offer at no cost," Parsons added. "We feel our customers deserve the most for their money."
