Searching Your Computer: It Can Be Faster
Google has high lighted the need for users to quickly and effectively search the thousands and thousands of files (documents, email, databases, etc) that build up over time, but there's many other programs competing with Google, that may be better.
PC World writes Software makers Blinkx, Copernic Technologies, and X1 Technologies already offer desktop search tools as well. The Blinkx and Copernic tools are free; X1's tool is $74.95 (free trial version).
