Voting Opens for 2004 Best Independent Tech Blog Readers Choice Award
CMP Media's TechWeb Network today announced the ten finalists for the first annual Best Independent Tech Blog Readers Choice Awards.
From October 10 - 29, 2004, TechWeb Network visitors, who are composed mainly of technology professionals at large, medium, and small organizations, were asked to nominate their favorite independent tech blogs.
Of the nearly 1,000 nominations made, the ten that received the most nominations (listed alphabetically) were:

The ten finalists receive six months of promotion on TechWeb Network sites and face a run-off for Best Independent Tech starting November 1, 2004. The winning blog, to be announced on November 15, will also receive a $500 Starbucks Coffee Card.
