SCORE NYC audience is enthused about web sites
Today, Ramon Ray, Technology Evangelist and Editor of Smallbiztechnology.com presented his third seminar of the year to the SBA's Service Core of Retired Executives (NYC) audience of small businesses who are just starting or thinking of starting their own businesses.
Ramon spoke about "Building Business Class Web Sites" and "Using the Internet to Grow Your Business"
One question asked was, "How can I help my dad, who's "old school" understand that the Internet can benefit his business". Ramon suggested that the attendee have a senior business executive, near his dad's age, explain to his dad (his peer) the benefits of the Internet and how it benefited his own business.
There were questions about blogging (Ramon's upcoming article on inc.com covers blogging) and about security (Ramon pointed them to Nickbraak.com), how to know who is visiting your web site (FreeStats.com).
