Lexmark offers affordable wireless printing capabilities for small and medium businesses

Printing is something businesses often do with no thought. However the wires involved can at tims make printing not a "print where you want" experience.

To make that happen Lexmark has announced Lexmark International, Inc. (NYSE:LXK) today introduced the Lexmark N4050e, a low-cost print server providing wireless networking capabilities for both personal and workgroup printers. Aimed at small and medium businesses, the Lexmark N4050e offers the right mix of wireless technology, security and compatibility to meet the needs of today's changing network environments.

The Lexmark N4050e wireless print server is compatible with the Lexmark X7170 all-in-one printer announced today and the recently announced E-series of desktop monochrome laser printers. In addition the Lexmark N4050e supports the X6170, X6150, X5270, X5250, X5150, Z65, Home Copier Plus, and any other USB connected Lexmark business printer.

Pricing and availability

The Lexmark N4050e will be available for purchase in October. The street price is estimated to be $149.
