Yahoo enters discount domain-name business
Well Yahoo, in direct challange to leaders GoDaddy.com and Verisign is going to launch a doman name business.
GoDaddy.com, Verisign and others now have a LOT of heat on their backs with this news.
Mercury News writes Yahoo wants a piece of the lucrative market, citing how more than 50,000 domain names are registered worldwide daily at prices between $9 to $35 a year.
