HP puts Linux on a notebook

This should come as no surprise - but HP has launched its first "Linux" notebook computer. Techtree.com writes "Today's announcement of our expanding Linux customer base, new products and services, along with the world's first notebook PC pre-installed with Linux, marks our continued momentum in the Linux market and with our customers", said Martin Fink, vice president, Linux, HP.

The use of Linux is only going to increase. Those stuck in a Windows "only" world need to wake up and smell the coffee. HOWEVER, I still say that for most small-medium sized businesses - the Windows platform is the best way to go. For servers, Linux could and should be considered.
