Watch out for VOIP potholes

Hmmm, so VOIP is not as much of a bed of roses as VOIP vendors would have us think. Sure, VOIP is great but I didn't realize the downside of VOIP until now. News Factor reports that In many cases, features that companies took for granted in their legacy private branch exchange (PBX) systems are missing in the VoIP-powered ones. Missing user and system features can increase costs by as much as 50 percent of the initial investment, says Gartner's Jay Lassman.
