HP Revamps Its Web Sites
Re-doing a web site is not the greats thing a tech vendor can do. HOWEVER, a businesses web site - tech vendor or otherwise - is one key source of how partners, customers, and others get information. At first glance not much has changed on HP's web site, but several enhancements have been made to make it a bit easier to get to things - like technical support.
I applaud HP for re-doing its web site.
PC World writes Hewlett-Packard has finished a major redesign of its public HP.com and its private customer extranet. The redesign marks the first time in about 18 months that such an effort hasn't focused on integrating the HP and Compaq Web properties, an HP executive says (full story)
