TEC Launches SMB Accounting Software Evaluation Center
Technology Evaluation Centers (TEC) has formed an alliance with Solutions, publisher of The Accounting Library to provide organizations in the SMB market with online access to impartial evaluations and comparisons for over 100 leading accounting software packages. The TEC SMB Accounting Software Evaluation Center to be launched on May 15, 2004, will complement TEC's existing portfolio of online evaluation centers for ERP, CRM, SCM, Information Security, and others. The new site is part of a two year rapid expansion in software evaluation products and services at TEC, and answers a demand from TEC's worldwide audience of end-users, software vendors and consultants to provide more information on software in the hot SMB market.
TEC currently provides impartial software evaluations covering 500 vendor products through its on-line evaluation centers. Serving more than 210,000 registered IT professionals, and half a million monthly visitors, TEC's eBestMatch online expert system provides IT decision-makers with access to over 10,000 individual software criteria. The system allows users to access basic software comparisons and download reports, or conduct custom software selections, including setting requirements, creating RFIs, RFPs, and comparing legacy systems.
