palmOne introduces two color Zire handhelds
I use the Tungsten E, but the Zire family of Palm PDA's can work just as well for many.
Geekzone is reporting that palmOne released two new handhelds, part of the Zire family of PDA. The company is currently shipping three distinct lines of PDA: the Zire is aimed at entry-level users, the Tungsten is marketed to power and corporate users, while the Treo is a converged device integrating PDA and mobile phone capabilities.

The new Zire 72 comes with a built-in 1.2mp digital camera with 2x digital zoom, audio/video capture and playback ability, and Bluetooth wireless technology. The audio/video capture requires a SD card (bought separately) to store the movie, captured in mpeg4 format. The udpated web browser comes with a new feature that fits a full web page on screen, allowing the user the ability to see certain portions of the page by tapping the area to be zoomed. (full story)
