One in six use wireless Internet, survey finds
USA Today is reporting that One in six U.S. Internet users have logged on using "Wi-Fi" or another wireless technology, according to a survey released Tuesday that found continued growth in Internet use.
The Pew Internet and American Life Project found more U.S. adults than ever use the Internet and participate in a wider range of activity via the medium than previously measured.
Seventeen percent have logged on using a wireless device, and those under 27 were nearly twice as likely to have done so.
Nearly three-quarters of U.S. adults use computers, the nonprofit group found, and 63% use the Internet. (full story)
