Nextel Woos Early Adopters with Fast Wireless
Wireless is great but wireless broadband is even better. Imagine, having a mobile device with HIGH SPEED internet access. Most of us are used to slow speeds of wireless data access and this then limits the email, and other data we receive and send. High-speed connections, give a whole new dimension.
News Factor is reporting that Wireless broadband is an inevitable technology -- one that most consumers do not yet know they need. Nextel Communications is the latest service provider to unveil a wireless broadband service for its customers.
Nextel Communications says its service, which had been operating in a test version since February, covers about 1,300 square miles in the Research Triangle area that includes Raleigh, Durham, and Chapel Hill in North Carolina. (full story)
