Sharp Unveils Tinier Ultraportable Laptop
I'm partial to IBM notebook computers as I think they are one of the best on the market. However, today, in Boston, I was surrouned by Apple notebooks. I guess I'd be willing to use something else, if it was real good.
CMP media's mobilepipeline web site reads Sharp Monday upped the stakes in the battle to release the smallest ultraportable laptop by unveiling the two-pound Actius MM20.
The laptop is about.62 thick and features a fanless design, the company said. It also has built-in 802.11g WLAN connectivity and gets three hours of usage out of its standard battery. An optional battery is available that delivers nine hours of power, the company said. (full story)
