IDG's PCWorld.com Honored With Neal Award for Best Web Site
Online counterpart of PC World, the most widely-read technology or business magazine, hailed for editorial excellence by the American Business Media with coveted industry accolade
In ceremonies held last week, PCWorld.com was named Best Web Site at the 50th Annual Jesse H. Neal National Business Journalism Awards in New York. Sponsored by the American Business Media, the Neal Awards recognize superiority in business publishing and are known as the "Pulitzer Prize of the business press."
"Winning a Neal is a tremendous accomplishment; we're proud to have the site acknowledged by such a respected organization," stated Ramon "Bud" McLeod, editor of PCWorld.com and executive editor, news, PC World. "The energy, enthusiasm, and dedication of the editorial and design teams deserve this recognition for fulfilling our editorial mission of providing trusted technology advice to users. Congratulations to everyone involved."
