Yahoo drops Google to use own search engine
My spin: The Financial Times is reporting that Yahoo will stop using Google's search engine for its web searches but will use its own search engine.
With Microsoft waiting in the wings to launch a rival technology of its own, the move sets up a three-way struggle that will challenge Google's recent dominance of internet searching.
YOU won't be affected by this, as you can still go to GOOGLE, MSN, YAHOO, OVERTURE or others for your searches. But who is affected are the companies themselves.
