Gateway. More then PCs but services too
Yesterday Gateway launched a new suite of branded professional services, Gateway Professional Services, a new portfolio of products under Gateway's existing Technology LifeCycle Services umbrella. These services are tailored for
business, education and government customers ranging from 100-seat firms to enterprise-class organizations. Gateway's OS Migration Services is the first offering available in the new portfolio (see separate press release).
The new services give Gateway customers the ability to leverage more than 5,000 highly trained, certified experts nationwide. In addition, customers benefit from best-practice methodologies for the plan, design, implementation and training for their IT projects using the services. While OS Migration is the first offering in the new Gateway Professional Services portfolio, future services to be unveiled during the year include:
* Server consolidation services
* Clustering services
* Network assessment and design services
* Storage services
* Security consulting services
* Business continuity services
* Expanded training services
To provide Gateway Professional Services to customers, Gateway will leverage its existing services team and other third-party resources. Gateway Professional Services is a key component of Gateway's Technology LifeCycle Services platform, which provides organizations with hardware, support, training and related services they need through all stages of their
technology's lifespan.
