DELL slaps AMD

My spin: In a major slap to AMD and continued boost to INTEL, Reuters is repoting that Dell Inc. (Nasdaq:DELL - news), the world's No. 2 personal computer maker, said on Wednesday it had no plans to use Advanced Micro Devices Inc. (NYSE:AMD - news) chips in its products as corporate customers are not asking for that.

However, Dell tests every AMD chip, including its new 64-bit Opteron processor, in its labs.
